I’m a graphic designer with 26 years’ experience, with a background in typography, branding, and visual communication.

I graduated with first class honours in Typography from Exeter School of Art (now Plymouth University), and spent six years working for a leading Oxfordshire design agency. I then went on to spend 18 years as a Design and Brand Manager, leading an in-house creative team and supporting a large organisation with its communications and visual output.

At James Mackintosh Architects, I support the team across the day-to-day running of the practice, from setting up new jobs and office administration to client contact and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Alongside this, I lead the practice’s marketing and communications, producing printed and digital material, creating social content and reels, and art directing photography at project completion. My role combines organisation and creativity, helping shape how the practice works and how its work is presented.
